cùràtéla is a visual poem dedicated to the many hyper-educated yet under-employed art specialists. In Italian, curatela can be read in different ways depending on where the accent falls: it can mean curation, but also cure her or heal it. “Cure that obsession of yours (cùratela) with curating (curatéla); you know perfectly well that, in this economy, the most you can aspire to is becoming a museum attendant.”
I wanted to create a miniature museum where I imagined us caring for that very attendant (curàtela).
